Eating solid food, walking with a shopping cart ("getting ready for Wal-Mart," he said), speaking clearly, and making amazing progress!

When you get to Wal-Mart watch out for the eight-year-olds who've absconded with their mothers' carts and are taking delight in bumping into yours, catpulting you backwards! I speak with authority because this happened to me Monday. I wouldn't have gone there this time of year had I not been out of Wal-Marty type paraphernalia necessary for comfort in my dotage. This is all by way of saying how wonderful it is to read about your progress and sense of humor and perspective about it. Love, Bridget

Posted by: Bridget Warner at December 3, 2005 03:11 PMDear Fred & Helen,
What great news! Although I would recommend staying a healthy distance from WalMart this time of year no matter how well you're walking!!
Joe & I are THRILLED you're making such strong steady progress! We know you are working hard to get home. Glad to see it's paying off.
We think of you so often, and send good thoughts your way every day. We look forward to seeing you at home soon!! Keep taking good care of each other.
Love,
Eve & Joe
