Sir Loin's Inn

Its extremely rare that I get to dine at a steak house. That's part of the deal when your spouse is a vegetarian. So lemme ask you this. Is the primary color in most steak houses brown? Do all steak houses make their waiters wear culottes? Do all steak houses serve butter smothered bread with au jus? Have you ever liked au jus so much you poured it over your salad? Do people who enjoy steak houses often make photo gallerys out of their dining experience?

I married into a family that owns two of the best stake houses I've ever experienced (even beats out Donanelle's in Hattiesburg). Lot o brown, no culottes though. Next time you're in Tulsa...

I eat the blue cheese sauce on EVERYTHING. I even bring it home, put it in the fridge and use it as a spread on toast (ok, so I eat it straight with a spoon).

This is my new favorite restaurant. I'm on the big cat diet now. Dylan, next time you are in town, we are going to Sir Loins!

And yes of course that is a gin and tonic on the table, though I was having a jammie on the rocks.

The other thing I loved was the 2 way window behind the salad bar. And what did this portal look onto, you might ask? The grill where they are cooking your steak, of course. Not vegetarian friendly at all. This place is all about red meat.

What the hell's a jammie? And, off the subject, what happened with the water legislation you guys protested?

The water legislation is before the House today. No word yet but it doesn't look good.

jammie = Jamesons
